Dad means fun & Beautiful day

Hello everyone!!!
After some days of technical and not only problems,
I'm finally able to share with you my layout for the Get Creative August 1st challenge as well as my take on the August Week 1 sketch of Sassy Lil' Sketches!!!

Ok, let me start with the Get Creative challenge...
The challenge this time is to make a layout/card with 8 embellishments!!!
Cool isn't it??  It really troubled me, as I wasn't sure what was better, to use 8 different kinds of embellies or 8 items of the same?  Anyway, I went with the first option...

And this is what I did

Go check what the rest of the DT created!!!  They did an awesome job with the challenge!!

Now let's move on to the wonderful sketch of Cherie that was to be interpreted this month for Sassy Lil' Sketches Week 1 sketch!  As you can see, the design is based on the very flexible and easy to play with grid!! I just love playing with squares....

This is my take on the sketch

I played a bit with my mists, a mask and my pen... I also used some stuff that had been aging in my stash... This page features some photos from a recent trip we took to Thessaloniki last Easter.  We had a blast with some very dear friends, to whom I'm grateful for the love and hospitality they showed to us!!!
