I {heart}

At last one page dedicated to scrapbooking itself!
Now you will be wondering what I'm talking about.
Ok let me explain.

Bird is the Word's new challenge is up!
It revolves around the word HEART. Of course. 
Today it's Valentine's Day :)

Flowers, hearts, red and pink ballons, kisses....
I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, but I think it's nice to talk about things we love.

Therefore my page refers to another big love I have - scrapbooking and crafting!

And a beautiful sketch by Mary Thomas to start with (optional)

- I did play with it, I rotated it and created my page



A simple page.  I liked the result - I think I got right to the point of what I meant to say with my page.

***update for the girls that commented on the techniques I used: the background is not inked or misted, it's sanded, as it's a coredinations whitewash cardstock!
