What summer means to me - Once Upon A Sketch Feb 15th challenge

Good morning everyone!
Today it's a wonderful sunny and bright day... 
It seems that we are fastly approaching spring here in Heraklion.
Which means that summer will be here in a couple of months.
Summer can be a rather painful word for me (having to work at the airport).
But I prefer to see it differently.


I'm quite excited today, because I just found out that 
this layout of mine won the challenge at Skissedilla!

And one another reason I'm happy today is that 
Feb 15th challenge at Once Upon A Sketch is up! 
Like you already know, Once Upon A Sketch teamed up
with our Get Creative for February and we have been exchanging DT places!

February 15th Challenge

Journalling criteria/theme: HOLIDAYS/VACATION 

Have you printed out all those photos from your last holiday/vacation or most favourite holiday/vacation? We would LOVE to see them and hear all about it. With the theme of holidays/vacation for this challenge, we would love to hear about: your favourite holiday/vacation of all time or a favourite place you would LOVE to take a holiday in . Or how about the last holiday/vacation you went to?  Maybe you have not travelled yet? Then tell us about your DREAM HOLIDAY /VACATION destination. 

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and theme and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote. 

You must combine our journalling criteria/theme with this sketch.

Now a few things about my page:

When writing my journalling, I was inspired by Nikoleta A's poem, which I changed a bit.  

I loved what Vibeke did with her tags, so I altered a normal tag with mists like she did and added it to my cluster!  I used some material from the prize the OUAS team sent me for winning the November 1st challenge, a fabulous Swirlydoos kit!

Ok now I would like to say that all the GC DT did a great work with the challenge, and there's plenty of inspiration for you, so head to the Once Upon A Sketch to take a look!

Don't forget that Get Creative has revealed the Feb 15th challenge, that is based on a wonderful sketch by Elina Katechi!!!  The amazing girls from the DT of Once Upon A Sketch have done miracles with it!! Seriously!
