Cherish all you are given

Good morning everyone!
After a series of hectic days at work, today I finally won a day for myself!
So I thought to play a bit, try new things and why not? take part in a challenge...

Yesterday I came across in FB this beautiful, inspiring video tutorial by Stephanie Papin and since today is a day with some free time for myself (a miracle, indeed), I decided to watch the video and try the background watercolour technique she is showing us!

I also decided to play with the June Color Challenge of the Lindy Stamp Gang blog, as I really loved their colour combo!

After some playing with my 7 Dots Illumination Collection and a few LSG mists,

this is the page that came out

(it's talking about how we must cherish every single thing God has given us in our life, family, friends, people, abilities, possibilities - even though our life might seem empty some times, it's really not: in the empty room there are some beautiful balloons rising up, we only have to look upwards)

The LSG mists I used are the following

Don't eat golden snow

and this is the June Color Challenge

So I guess that's everything! I hope you like my page! Thanks for stopping by and for the warm comments! I really appreciate them! Thank you!

Just fly - a layout tutorial for 7 Dots Studio

Hello everyone!
My 4th video tutorial is up on the 7 Dots Studio blog today!

Inspired by the theme of the photo, I built my page on the beautiful stamps and the amazing tags of the Thoughts Keeper Collection.  The layout talks about trusting in our wings to soar in the skies. We can't fly unless we accept ourselves and count our blessings.   What a liberating thought, to acknowledge everything we are given, trust it and move forward and upwards.  The music of this video belongs to Lindsey Sterling and her awesome violin skills.

The layout

and the video

I hope you enjoy and get inspired by my tutorial! If there's anything you would like to ask/comment/say concerning it, please feel free to contact me!  Thanks for watching!

Are you lost? Follow your heart

Hello hello! Very excited and happy today! For two reasons.
First of all, I was chosen by Tusia Lech to continue for a 4th term as a Regular Design Team member at the DREAMY 7 Dots Studio!

I have become very attached with the 7 Dots Studio family and Tusia especially, as she was the first manufacturer that believed in my skills, trusted and supported me throughout this journey in the scrapbooking universe (needless to say, I'M IN LOVE WITH EVERY SINGLE COLLECTION).

I have said in the past that I would like to quit being in Design Teams, because I have got tired trying to make ends meet, with my job, the daily life, the kids and so on.
But really, and I mean REALLY, couldn't say no to sweet Tusia, when she asked me to continue being a member of this Dream Team.  The girls who are also part of this amazing team are EXTRA-TALENTED, their work is so inspirational that I still feel intimidated by their creativity's awesomeness. So I promise myself that I will keep on giving my best for 7 Dots Studio!

Another reason I 'm very excited today is that I, along with the scrap-goddess Louise Nelson, am a guest designer at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo!

We had to work with the current challenge, whose theme is the DAMASK pattern!

One more time, as I was thinking about what to do and how to start, I drew inspiration from the June Challenge of Scrap Around the World and its moodboard:

I was mainly inspired by the colour scheme and the arrangement of beautiful flowers of the down left photo, which I combined with the lovely damask-patterned paper of the 7 Dots Studio Soulmates Collection! I also was inspired by the softness of the moodboard and tried to achieve the same softness in my layout.  Because I'm a glitter girl, the golden colour of the moodboard is the main feature, which added sparkle and contrast.  The page is colourful, mostly because of the amazing Pinterest photo that says so much about finding our way to happiness, by just following our heart!

So this is it

More details of my page, as well as Louise's gorgeous project, you can find at the Scrapki-wyzwaniowo blog!
Thanks for stopping by... I hope you have a great week!

Life is good - GDT for Bymaga-Maraka

Hello people!
Do you know the wonderful challenge blog Бумага-Марака?
Well if not, I think it's high time you did, because their sketches and challenges are awesomely inspirational! I recently played with one of their sketches and I admit it gave me a wonderful time of scrapping! And I'm very honoured that I was asked to be their Guest Designer for the June challenge, thank you, girls!

So today I would like to share my page with the new sketch
(this time I opted for a light and fresh, modern style)

The lovely sketch is this

As you see, the deadline for submitting your based-on-the-sketch page is July 15th! Plenty of time ahead!  I hope you play with the sketch, it's worth your time, believe me!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!

Every day is a lesson

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing a page that I made with the lovely 7 Dots Studio "Thoughts Keeper" Collection.
This collection has always inspired me to create in a sensitive, feminine and elegant style... I just love it!

***More details you will find at the 7 Dots Studio Blogpost, which I'm sharing with Anna Komenda***

This time I based my photo on a collage of tags and stickers (of the same collection), which were joined together with stamps of the same pattern.  So a big cross-like design was created, which I adorned with mica flakes and glitter.  The theme of my page talks about learning something every day, by taking small steps into the unknown, just like the little girl of the photo. The bamboo sticks that lie under the photo resemble the narrow path that is ahead of her.

Now the Berry71Bleu June Challenge, whose lovely moodboard is the following, has an amazing theme:  Stamping.  When I saw it, I just couldn't resist at it!

I guess that's everything! Thanks for passing by my blog!
